K. Michelle is known to speak her mind. The singer tweeted a thinly-veiled insult about Australian rapper Iggy Azalea, which caused Perez Hilton to speak up on Iggy’s behalf.
“How can you be from another country and rap like you’re from Memphis TN? But u don’t hear me though #offended,” Michelle wrote on Monday.
On Tuesday, Perez caught wind of her comment. He replied, “@kmichelle I think you chose the wrong hashtag and meant to say #jealous instead! x.”
After Michelle referred to Perez as “Cinderella,” the blogger returned fire suggesting that Michelle focus on having a number two song on the Billboard Hot 100, referring to Iggy’s hit single “Fancy.”
Michelle replied, “You’re 1 of the OLD girls, no one has been checking 4u since Lady Gaga disowned u. I said what I said!”
Iggy has not responded to the Twitter spat.
