In the trippy clip, posted on Instagram, the crooner looks psychedelic while riding a motorcycle in a black leather vest and dark shades. Since there are two versions of the song, its unknown if his collaborator Wale will make an appearance in the video. The rapper appears in the alternate, and more explicit, rendition of the tune.
Miguel recently told The FADER what inspired the track. “‘Coffee’ is meant to be one big beautiful cosmic blur. It’s lust and vice, in the most beautiful sense, rooted in genuine connection.”
You can expect Miguel’s long-awaited album to arrive next month.
