Photo Credit: Daniel SannwaldMiguel has enjoyed many great moments in his music career, but he still can’t get over working with the one and only Mariah Carey.
The singer reflected on recording 2013’s “#Beautiful” with Carey, who he says was the woman he grew up having a crush on.
“I grew up having a crush on this woman,” Miguel says in an interview with VH1. “It was crazy to finally get in the studio and learn so much about her and her creative process. I didn’t realize that she wrote so many of her own records. I don’t think a lot of people know that.”
The song later received a platinum certification from the Recording Industry Association of America, which Miguel was happy to be a part of. “It was a great time, dream come true type stuff,” he adds.
Miguel is currently on his Wildheart tour, which wraps up September 4 in his hometown of Los Angeles.
