Image Group LA/ABCMTV has apologized to Ciara for attempting to stir up old beef between her and pop star Rihanna during Sunday night’s Billboard Music Awards.
After Ciara reprimanded the network for a since-deleted tweet that seemed to evoke an old beef between the two singers, MTV responded tweeting, “@ciara you’re right. A newbie was tweeting from our account and NEVER will again. Our apologies. Rihanna was truly amazing and so were you.”
It appears that the issues between the network and singer have been settled.
