Ne-Yo Earns Top 5 Debut with Non-Fiction

MotownNe-Yo‘s Non-Fiction has landed in the top 10 on the Billboard 200 album chart this week.

According to the publication, the crooner’s sixth album debuts at #5 with 59,000 in sales and streams in its first seven days in stores — 82 percent were from traditional album sales. In addition, Non-Fiction sits atop the R&B Albums chart.

Non-Fiction, which is Ne-Yo’s sixth consecutive top 10 album, boasts contributions from ScHoolboy Q, T.I. and Jeezy, plus production from Shae Taylor, Stargate, Key Wayne and Glass John. The set also includes the Juicy J-assisted song “She Knows,” and “Time of Our Lives” with Pitbull.

Elsewhere on the chart, Nicki Minaj’s The Pinkprint slips from #6 to #8 with an additional 48,000 in sales and streams.
