ABC/Kelsey McNealAfter the colossal success of their BET biopic drama, The New Edition Story, New Edition has returned to the top 40 on the Billboard 200 album chart with All the Number Ones.
It’s the first appearance of a New Edition album in the top 40 of the chart in more than a decade.
The compilation was released in 2000 but according to Billboard is making it’s chart debut this week, at #37.
The New Edition album to make the top 40 cam in 2004 when One Love both debuted and peaked at #12.
As previously reported, group member Johnny Gill said in January that New Edition plans a new album to release as soon as possible, along with a tour, due to high demand following the TV bio-series.
