New Music Friday: Blxst, Trevor Jackson, Bren Joy, Anthony Hamilton, and more

by

Red Bull RecordsHere’s a round up of new music and videos from today’s hottest artists:

Rising artist Blxst returns with a music video for his hit single, “Chosen,” featuring Ty Dolla $ign andTyga

The visual captures the quintessential college experience with all three artists partying at Evgle University, mirroring scenes from classic college films like Stomp the Yard and Love & Basketball.

Tyga and Ty Dolla $ign are spotted at football games and partying at frat houses with the step team, while Blxst holds it down on campus, cuddling with his lady on the lawn.

“Chosen” was taken from Blxst’s critically-acclaimed debut project, No Love Lost, and follows last month’s release, Just for Clarity.

Up next is Trevor Jackson with a cinematic visual for his new single, “Get to You.” The R&B singer and actor finds himself somewhat obsessed with a woman he met at the bar in the visual inspired by Michael Jackson‘s “Thriller” video.

Get to You” is featured on Jackson’s debut album, Love Language, which is out today. The 14-track solo effort features his previous singles, “River” and “Just Friends.”

Nashville singer Bren Joy also returns with a deluxe version of his beloved EP, Twenties, and a dreamy collaboration with fellow R&B virtuoso Pink Sweat$. “Insecure” features a harmonious performance from Pink Sweat$ and Bren’s fluttering falsetto, crooning about letting his guard down for his love interest.

Last but not least, hip hop lyricist Sir the Baptist shared his new single, “Jesus in the Ghetto,” featuring soul singer Anthony Hamilton.

Sir’s profound lyrics present a new way for people to digest the readings of the bible. The artist and producer is known for merging hip hop, R&B and gospel music, as heard on his latest album, Godfindence: Kingdom Bae.
