by

Epic RecordsHere’s a roundup of new R&B/hip-hop music from West Coast artists Giveon and Blxst, and Atlanta native Brent Fiayaz

Giveon returns with his deluxe album When It’s All Said and Done…Take Time and a video for his single, “Heartbreak Anniversary,” starring Samantha Logan, who plays Olivia Baker on CW’s All American.

The video follows the highs and lows of a couple as Giveon sings about their relationship, which has come to an end. The Long Beach singer also shared his new single, “All to Me,” which finds him wanting to step up and show a woman how she’s supposed to be treated.

“He lost your touch all to me, all to me / Oh he still don’t make you feel beautiful / I know but I do just know I got you,” Giveon sings.

Los Angeles native Blxst also released his new EP, Just for Clarity, with contributions from rapper Drakeo the Ruler and Russ.

Blxst and Drakeo go back and forth on “Don’t Forget,” discussing their rise to fame and what continues to push them to the top. Meanwhile “[Eff] Boys” finds Blxst and Russ offering advice to the women who are left damaged from relationships or past experiences with men who are incapable of love.

“But [Eff] boys [mess] it up for real [men]/ yeah I been in my bag for a minute / I got time today, I might spend it/ I’m just tryna say, I might heal it,” sings Blxst on the chorus.

And lastly, Brent Faiyaz highlights Black beauty, love and family in the music video for his new single, “Show U Off.” It follows Brent’s previous releases “Gravity,” featuring Tyler, The Creator, and “Circles,” from his three-song Dropbox project.
