As the tune climbs the charts, the singer reveals that the chemistry he found with his R&B peers contributes to the song’s success.

“A lot of the people that I want to work with, I’m actually fans of and I actually want to work with them. I pride myself on associating myself with just creative people who really love what they do,” Omarion tells ABC Radio. “So, I think that’s the reason why a record like ‘Post to Be’ can happen, you know, because I think a lot of people would not have even guessed that I would do a record with those people.”

The crooner has a lot of admiration for Brown and Aiko, neither of whom he’s ever worked with before. “Beside the creative aspect or the music, it’s like I actually am cool with these people and I love Jhene’s work and Chris is like super dope to me,” Omarion says.

“Post to Be” currently sits at #13 on the Billboard Hot 100.  It’s lifted from Omarion’s album Sex Playlist, available now.
