O’Shea Jackson Stars in ‘Godzilla: King of the Monsters’

by

The action-sci-fi thriller flick ‘Godzilla: King of the Monsters‘ is on track to smash the weekend box office in the $60-55 million dollar range.

The much anticipated follow-up to 2014’s Godzilla and 2017’s Kong: Skull Island stars, among others, Oshea Jackson, son of Ice Cube, in his first ‘monster’ movie.

He talked to BET about some of the things he went through on set.

A bear got on set,” for real, according to Jackson, but the cast and crew got through that situation.

Something that Jackson says war “so ridiculous,”

“Every time Ghidorah is on camera there has to be a hurricane, which means you have to be completely just doused in water, 100-mile-per-hour winds and just how sore my feet were. It was just right when they’re on the second stage of pruning. Oh, it’s so ridiculous.”

Among others, Jackson stars alongside Vera Farmiga, Kyle Chandler and Millie Bobbie Brown who portray a family that will see Godzilla collide with Mothra, Rodan and King Ghidorah.

Jackson stars as stars as Chief Warrant Officer Barnes in the movie.   Read more here.
