On Wednesday, Sony announced the start of a month-long celebration leading up to the newly-expanded version of one of the greatest albums in hip-hop, along with six bonus tracks, arriving October 30.

Stankonia raised the bar with hit singles like “So Fresh, So Clean,” “B.O.B (Bombs over Baghdad),” and the newly certified three-time platinum hit record “Ms. Jackson,” marking the group’s first single to peak at #1 on the Billboard Hot 100 chart. According to a press release, each song will come bundled with an instrumental, a cappella and remixed versions.

Andre describes the album as “this place I imagined where you can open yourself up and be free to express anything.”

Fans can also look forward to an unreleased “So Fresh, So Clean” remix with Snoop Dogg and Sleepy Brown, and another unreleased remix of “B.O.B. (Bombs Over Baghdad)” from Rage Against The Machine‘s Zack de la Rocha.

You can find the reissue on the usual streaming platforms. The Vinyl Me, Please record club, in association with Sony Music Entertainment/Certified/Legacy, will also release a collectible 2-LP edition of Stankonia pressed on a 12′ black and white galaxy vinyl.

Outkast changed the game with Stankonia, their fourth studio album, which peaked at #2 on Billboard’s200 Albums chart.  It won the Best Rap Album Grammy in 2002 while “Ms. Jackson” took home the Grammy for Best Rap Performance by a Duo or Group.
