Courtesy of PJ MortonPJ Morton is in full effect this week as he prepares to release his first-ever gospel album, Gospel According to PJ, which arrives on August 28.
On Monday, the Grammy-winning songwriter announced a special episode of his YouTube series, The Culture, following last week’s season finale.
“It’s Gospel According to PJ‘s release week!!” he wrote on Instagram. “And I know last week was the technical finale of The Culture Trivia show but I had to bring it back for one more week so we can have a #GAPJ special edition show.”
This week’s featured guests include Kim Burrell, Tasha Cobbs-Leonard and Jermaine Dolly, who are all featured on the Gospel According to PJ album, as well as Fred Hampton.
Ahead of the album, PJ released three singles including, “Repay You” featuring J Moss, “So in Love,” and “All In His Plan” featuring fellow Grammy-winning artists Mary Mary and Le’Andria Johnson.
The special episode of The Culture airs Wednesday at 8 p.m. EST on PJ Morton’s YouTube Channel. It will be followed by an album listening party Thursday night on Instagram Live.
