Tip “T.I.” Harris and his wife, Tameka “Tiny” Harris, have agreed to suspend production for season four of their VH1 reality series, T.I. & Tiny: Friends & Family Hustle.
Deadline reports the couple mutually agreed with MTV Entertainment to put things on hold in light of the sexual abuse accusations that surfaced last week against T.I. and Tiny.
“We are aware of the allegations, and while they are not connected to our show, we have reached out to T.I. and Tameka Harris, as well as local and state officials,” an MTV Entertainment spokesperson said in a statement to Deadline. “Given the serious nature of the allegations, we have decided to suspend production in order to gather more information.”
This news comes after Atlanta entrepreneur Sabrina Peterson blasted T.I. on Instagram for allegedly pointing a gun at her head. Peterson’s post led to a flood of responses from other alleged victims, who accused both T.I. and Tiny of drugging and coercing women, among other allegations.
According to Deadline, the couple denied “the egregiously appalling allegations” in a statement, while hinting they’ve had “difficulty” with Peterson over the past decade.
T.I. & Tiny: Friends & Family Hustle began shooting its fourth season in Atlanta in December. Season four is expected to document T.I., Tiny, and their loved ones during the pandemic, including their 10-year anniversary, T.I.’s 40th birthday, and the release of his 2020 album, The L.I.B.R.A. It’s also expected to show T.I. and Tiny embracing their new grandparent roles, after Tiny’s oldest daughter, Zonnique Pullins, gave birth to her first child in December. Zonnique, who also co-hosts Tiny’s new show, The Mix, welcomed a baby girl with her boyfriend, rapper Badhunta Izzy.
