On Monday, the 24-year-old R&B singer shared the visual for her latest single, “Lie to Me,” featuring Lil Durk.

“I’ve been in the studio and focused on my music / Ain’t got no time to press you ’bout them hoes that you been screwin’ up / ‘Cause I know where I stand / Know I got the key to your heart in my night stand,” sings Queen.

The visual was directed by Teyana “Spike Tey” Taylor and opens with Durk sitting on the bed, writing lyrics before he gets a call about the hottest girl on the block.

On his verse, the “Voice” rapper admits to his toxic ways and accepts their “arrangement” with someone who “ain’t all romantic” but respects his loyalty to the streets.

“Lie to Me” borrows from DeBarge’s heavily-sampled classic “A Dream,” which was most notably used for 2Pac‘s 1996 single, “I Ain’t Mad at Cha.”

Queen Naija is one of today’s hottest R&B artists, after growing a massive following with her self titled EP in 2018 and breakout singles such as “Medicine,” “Karma,”  and “Butterflies.”

Next up, Queen will release her debut album, preceded by her previously released singles “Pack Lite” and “Butterflies Pt. 2.”

Misunderstood arrives October 30.
