The singer presented his wife-to-be with an enormous cushion cut halo diamond ring, which she showed off on Instagram. But how did Ray pop the big question? The singer spills to OK! magazine that he proposed on the tarmac of an airport in front of a small, private plane.
“It was all a surprise — she had no idea,” Ray J recalls. “We were going to Arizona; I got the private jet and called her best friends and parents to come out the day after Christmas, and they hid on the plane…I pulled out the ring, and I started crying.”
While Princess Love chimed in that Ray “cried like a baby,” the singer added: “She’s a true ride-or-die woman for me.”
The two have been dating for a year.
