According to E! News, the former reality star has been released from Fort Dix Correctional Facility in New Jersey after serving five years. He is now living in a halfway house in Philadelphia, where he’s expected to remain until mid-October.

Nida was initially sentenced to eight years in prison on fraud charges back in 2014, when he admitted in court to identity theft and bank fraud. In March, his sentence was reduced to 84 months.

Nida was once married to former Real Housewives of Atlanta star Phaedra Parks. They later divorced in 2017, and Nida later became engaged to Sherien Almufti while in prison.

Parks, with whom Nida shares two children, has yet to comment on Nida’s release.
