Texas Congressman Marc Veasey took to Facebook Live to video a crowd of folks hanging out on Miller Ave. in Fort Worth the other evening.
He said about 100 or so young 20 to 30 year olds were “acting like COVID19 doesn’t exist.
He went on to talk about how serious the virus is and how it has been deadly in very high numbers in the African American community.
He says, #STAYATHOME several times on the video.
He also said that he saw a post online recently that talked about a place where they’re still doing hair and nails. He pointed his camera to toward a funeral home, and says that young people need to take that to heart.
