Report: Arrest warrant issued for R. Kelly’s manager

by

Randee St. Nicholas/RCA RecordsAn arrest warrant has reportedly been issued for R. Kelly‘s manager after he allegedly threatened the life of the father of one of the singer’s girlfriends, according to TMZ.

TMZ reports that police in Henry County, Georgia issued the warrant against the singer’s manager, James Mason, after Timothy Savage claimed that Mason had made a death threat against him.

Mason, who denies the threats, reportedly told TMZ that his lawyers plan to contact Henry County officials and that he intends to cooperate.

Savage had previously accused Kelly of holding his daughter, Jocelyn Savage, hostage.  In May, TMZ reported that Savage told police Mason called him and left a message in which he allegedly said, “I’m gonna do harm to you and your family, when I see you I’m gonna get you, I’m going to f***ing kill you.”

Jocelyn previously told TMZ that stories of her being held captive were “rumors,” and stated, “Obviously that’s not true.”

When directly asked if R. Kelly was holding any women hostage or had a sex cult, she replied,  “None of that is true. All of that is false accusations.”

Following reports that R. Kelly was operating a sex cult, the singer fired back at his critics last week with his 19-minute-plus track, “I Admit.”
