Report: Janet Jackson Cancels Formerly Postponed European Tour Dates

by

Live NationJanet Jackson might not head overseas after all. The singer has reportedly canceled those rescheduled European tour dates.

“It is not possible to confirm new date at the present time so we are refunding all ticket holders,” an email from Ticketmaster informed fans who had purchased tickets to her U.K. and other European shows, according to Spin. Additionally, Jackson’s European tour dates have been removed from Ticketmaster’s site.

Earlier this year, the singer postponed numerous Unbreakable Tour dates to undergo surgery, refuting claims the procedure had something to do with a rumored cancer diagnosis.

While this singer’s U.S. dates remain posted on her official website, this wouldn’t be the first time Janet axed tour dates — she previously experienced unspecified health issues during her 2008 Rock Witchu Tour, which prompted her to cancel seven shows shows in Montreal and several U.S. cities.  She also never embarked on her planned Japanese leg of the tour.
