Back in August, Miguel was arrested for driving under the influence on a Los Angeles freeway, after police pulled him over for having illegal tinted windows on his BMW X6. Now, the singer has reportedly pleaded no contest to the charge.

According to TMZ, the crooner has also apologized for the incident. “Driving with alcohol in my system was reckless.  I’m really sorry and I’m taking responsibility for this mistake,” he tells the gossip site.

Aside from being hit with a $360 fine, TMZ reports Judge Lynne Hobbs placed Miguel on three years of informal probation and ordered him to complete an alcohol ed class.

Public Information Officer Karina Munoz previously confirmed to KABC-TV that Miguel was given a sobriety test and blew a .10, blood alcohol content, which is above the .08 legal limit in California.
