Rihanna seems to have two types of fans: the uber-supportive, better known as her Navy, and the other group that loves to hate her. The latter have resumed bashing Rihanna, this time for arriving more than an hour late to her concert in Adelaide, Australia, on Thursday.
According to The Australian, a disgruntled crowd booed the singer for arriving on stage 90 minutes after the show was scheduled to begin. Rihanna failed to explain the delay and told the crowd, “Adelaide, what the f**k, I’m finally here, and I now remember how crazy my Australian fans are.”
Even though the show went on, it seems some fans were still upset by Rihanna’s tardiness, and vented on Twitter.
“@rihanna thanks for a disappointing show last night..as if #Adelaide doesn’t suck enough already #igotdressedforthat #late,” @TBomb_Moritz said.
“#whilewaitingforrihanna I auditioned for X Factor, won it, became a pop star myself and turned up late to my own concert,” @petstarr joked.
Hopefully, Rihanna will be more prompt for the remaining stops of her Diamonds World Tour, which will travel next to Melbourne and Sydney, Australia, and then to Auckland, New Zealand.
