Rihanna, Drake and The Weeknd Competing for Billboard Chart Achievement Award

by

Paolo ReversiRihanna and Drake “Work” together, and now their fans have to choose just one for the Billboard Chart Achievement Award.

Rih-Rih and Drizzy are competing with The Weeknd, and other artists, for the only Billboard Music Award which is chosen via fan voting. The honor recognizes “outstanding and rare achievements.”

Rihanna’s credentials include setting a record by spending a total of 60 weeks at #1 throughout her career.  She’s passed The Beatles to hold the record for the second-most weeks at #1 of all time.

Drake and Rihanna hit #1 with “Work,” and now Drake has his first chart topper on the Billboard Hot 100 as a lead artist with “One Dance.” He also set a record with 20 songs currently on the Hot 100.

The Weekend is in rare company as one of only 12 acts to replace himself at the top of the Billboard Hot 100 when “The Hills” succeeded “Can’t Feel My Face.”

You can vote now at BillboardMusicAwards.com/Vote and on Twitter, by tweeting the finalist’s name or Twitter handle, any form of the word “vote” and adding the show’s hashtag “#BBMAs.”

The winner of the Billboard Chart Achievement Award will be announced at the annual Billboard Music Awards on May 22. Ciara and Ludacris will host the show live from the T-Mobile Arena in Las Vegas on ABC.
