A spokesperson for MAC confirmed Rihanna’s involvement to ABC News Radio, and the company also tweeted, “Welcome to ! Arriving January 2014.”  More details will come later.

All the money from sales of Viva Glam lipsticks and lip glasses go directly to the MAC AIDS fund.  Among the top stars who’ve fronted the campaign in the past: Nicki Minaj, Lady Gaga, Ricky Martin, Cyndi Lauper, Elton John, Christina Aguilera, Mary J. Blige, Missy Elliott, Fergie and many more.

To date, Viva Glam has raised $270 million. After the Viva Glam shade promoted by Nicki and Ricky Martin together in 2012 became the campaign’s best-seller of all time, Nicki was invited back to front the 2013 campaign solo.

Rihanna has already launched several makeup collections in partnership with MAC.
