We The Best/Epic Records/Roc NationRihanna, along with DJ Khaled and Bryson Tiller, will perform at this Sunday night’s Grammy Awards, which will air live from New York City’s Madison Square Garden.
The trio will perform their smash single “Wild Thoughts” on the show. But since this is the 60th Grammy Awards, it’s not unthinkable that their performance may include rock legend Carlos Santana on guitar.
That’s because “Wild Thoughts” is based on the #1 hit “Maria, Maria,” from Santana’s 1999 album Supernatural. At the 2000 Grammys, Supernatural won nine trophies, so the Recording Academy may want to mark that achievement during this milestone telecast.
This year, Rihanna is nominated for Best Rap/Sung Performance for “LOYALTY.” with Kendrick Lamar.
The Grammys air Sunday, January 28 on CBS.
