Eric McCandless/CBSFollowing a two-year legal battle, Rihanna has walked away victorious in her lawsuit against retailer Topshop, the British retail clothing chain that sold a shirt bearing her likeness without her permission.
According to the U.K.’s Daily Mail, a three-judge panel has sided with Rihanna after Topshop’s parent company filed an appeal requesting that judges reconsider an court ruling against the company that entitles Ri Ri to a settlement worth around $5 million.
The popular chain used an image on a garment under the name “Rihanna Tank,” from a photograph taken by a freelance photographer during the filming of Rihanna’s “We Found Love” video in Northern Ireland in 2011.
