The wait for Rihanna‘s ninth studio album may soon be over, according to new intel courtesy of Universal Music France.

Over the weekend, the record label held its annual Open Session convention, during which it was announced that the yet-to-be titled project would be arriving in December. While there has been no official confirmation of the release date, several journalists in attendance, including French journalist Jason Moreau, later shared the news with fans in a series of tweets

Moreau also relayed that Drake, The Weeknd, Kanye West and Migos would also be delivering new albums come November, according to Universal Music France.

As previously reported, Rih has spent most of the year been readying the highly-anticipated body of work, said to be heavily reggae influenced. Back in June, the global star admitted in a profile feature for Interview magazine that she was eager to release it .

“It really does suck that it can’t just come out, because I’m working on a really fun one right now,” Rihanna explained to actress and Oceans 8 co-star Sarah Paulson. “I’m really happy with a lot of the material we have so far, but I am not going to put it out until it’s complete.”

She continued, “It makes no sense to rush it, but I want it out. I’ve gotten to the point where I’m like, ‘Even if I don’t have the time to shoot videos, I’m going to put an album out.’”
