Saweetie just made a boss move. The Bay Area rapper has officially launched her line with Black-owned swimwear brand Matte Collection.

The 12-piece collection features orange and blue-colored swimsuits and four three-piece neon-colored swimsuit sets, priced at $30 and $32 on MatteCollection.com. According to the company’s Instagram, Saweetie held an official launch party at their flagship store in Atlanta earlier this week.

As previously noted, Saweetie was scheduled today to release her debut album, Pretty B**** Music, but fans on Twitter are upset to find the album has yet to hit streaming services.

“Saweetie, where’s Pretty B**** Music,” wrote one fan, while another said, “Saweetie, your birthday is in almost a week. Where’s the Pretty B**** Music announcement?”

Hopefully, Saweetie will make a special announcement on her birthday July 2nd, or sooner at the 2021 BET Awards this Sunday. The “Tap In” rapper is nominated for Best Female Hip Hop Artist. According to Rap-Up, Saweetie appeared during a press junket for the award show, where she told personality and host Big Tigger her debut album had been pushed back.

“It was supposed to come out this month, but I was really living with it, and one of my goals is for people to really feel something with every song, so I had to go back and reconstruct some songs,” Saweetie said. “Just know that I’m a perfectionist, and it’s on the way.”
