She’s back: Erykah Badu to hit the road for new tour

ABC/Randy HolmesIt’s Erykah Badu against the world…except for her loyal fans, of course.

The celebrated singer is hitting the road for her Badu vs. Everythang tour, kicking off May 6 at Funk Fest in Birmingham, Alabama. 

The rest of the tour will make stops in several other cities across the United States, Europe and East Asia, including Paris, Copenhagen, Las Vegas, Philadelphia, Newark, Chicago and Tokyo.   

This Feburary, Erykah was honored by Essence magazine at its 8th annual Black Women in Music event during GRAMMY Week.  

The 20th anniversary of the four-time Grammy winner’s groundbreaking debut album Baduizm also occurred that same month.
