Epic RecordsThis week saw the surprise release of Ciara‘s Jackie, which is projected to have a modest sales start, based on first-day forecasts.
According to Hits Daily Double, industry insiders estimate that the singer’s set will sell approximately 21,000 to 24,000 copies in its first week, which includes on-demand streaming and digital track sales.
Ciara’s sixth album, which she named after her mother, includes appearances from Missy Elliott and Pitbull and contributions from Dr. Luke, Polow Da Don, Harmony Samuels, The Underdogs, Rock City, Ester Dean, and Diane Warren.
The official sales tally will be released next Wednesday.
