Slaven Vlasic/Getty Images for GaltiscopioRay J‘s cryptic announcement about possibly joining The Real doesn’t seem to be sitting well with fans of the popular daytime talk show.
Monday, the singer posted an Instagram photo of himself with The Real co-hosts Tamera Mowry-Housley, Jeannie Mai, Loni Love and Adrienne Houghton.
He captioned the image, “Looks like [I] got a new job!!! Stay tuned!! #TheRealwithRayJ #telepictures #DaytimeTV.”
While there has been no official word if Ray J truly has joined The Real, or if he was just having some fun posting the photo, fans have plenty to say about the singer’s announcement.
“I just KNOW The Real didn’t hire RAY J as their new co-host,” said one user after Ray J’s post.
“So lemme get this straight….The Real replaced Tamar [Braxton] w/ Ray J!!? (question face emoji)…but… nvm (dead face emoji),” said another.
Others found the announcement a bit funny — with one writing, “Wait Ray J is the new co host on The Real!?!!! (laughing face emoji)”
“I’m upset Ray J will permanently be on The Real nothing against Ray but I like it how it is & I still miss Tamar,” expressed another user.
Ray’s announcement comes after the reality star recently appeared on The Real to share that his wife, Princess Love, was pregnant with their first child.
Ray J has also been busy on the business side. In November, he signed a multi million dollar deal to produce a line of electronic transportation under his brand Raycon Global.
