Swae Lee releases Drake collab Won’t Be Late and steamy new single, Sextasy

by

Eardruma Records/Interscope Records Fresh on the heels of his Madonna collaboration, Swae Lee now has a Drake-assisted single on his resume.

The Rae Sremmurd frontman dropped “Won’t Be Late,” featuring the 6 God, at midnight on Friday.

Fans praised Swae’s portion of the rhythmic track, but initial reactions were mixed about Drake’s contribution.

That wasn’t the only song Swae released at midnight.  He also dropped his solo effort, “Sextasy,” which features him singing in a higher register over an intense drum beat.  Unlike the Drake collab, fans seem to be loving this song’s vibe.

The steamy single features lyrics: “You’re not taking tonight luckily/Let me save you like a refugee/Let me give you sextasy/Don’t let me be a memory/I’ve got the drink and a remedy/I know you be so intimate with me.”

The Tekno production was previewed earlier this year during Virgil Abloh‘s DJ set at Coachella, back in April.

This fall, Swae is set to hit the road with Post Malone as a supporting act for Posty’s Runaway Tour. The North American arena trek kicks off September 14 in Tacoma, Washington.
