SZA is taking video submissions from fans for her upcoming video Good Days

by

RCA RecordsLast Christmas, SZA gifted fans her single, “Good Days,” and now she’s ready to make the music video for her first release in 2021.

On Thursday, the R&B singer declared, “It’s music video time!”

“Y’all asked and it’s coming! I’m shooting “Good Days,” BUT I NEED YOUR HELP!” reads a message on SZA’s Twitter. “I decided that this is ALL OUR SONG AND I HAVE TO HAVE YOU IN IT!! SEND ME STUFF!”

The message appeared on an animated, handwritten notebook page from the Top Dawg Entertainment signee, who has requested fans share with her their “happiest, saddest, your UGLIEST moments!”

“I wanna see what’s been keeping you alive! What does “Good Days” mean to YOU?” SZA continued. “Whether you’re crying dancing screaming or sleeping IDC SEND IT TO ME!!! I WANNA SEE IT!! This is about us as a collective. LETS GO. I love you -Lana.”

Fans who are interested should send footage to gooddayssza@gmail.com by Saturday, but not before you’ve read SZA’s guidelines.

“RULES: for best quality DOWNLOAD ALL VIDEOS TO YOUR COMPUTER TRY NOT TO TEXT THEM. Upload files to Dropbox or another hi res link and send that. Horizontal orientation is best! Deadline is Saturday at MIDNIGHT,” she tweeted.

By Thursday night, SZA’s Gmail account was full of roughly 2,500 submissions, according to a screenshot of a text she shared.

“Good Days” will be featured on SZA’s sophomore album, which is expected to arrive this year. The track landed in the top 10 on Billboard’s Hot R&B/Hip-Hop Songs chart dated for January 16.
