SZA working with Lady Gaga collaborators on next album

by

SageHer debut album Ctrl just came out last month, but SZA is already at work on her next album, which will feature some interesting collaborators: Mark Ronson and Australian psychedelic rock band Tame Impala.

The artist revealed the news during a recent Q&A interview, captured in a fan video, in London.

SZA described the project as a “joint album.”

Ronson and Tame Impala’s Kevin Parker most recently collaborated with Lady Gaga on “Perfect Illusion,” the first single from Gaga’s current album Joanne.

Grammy-winner Ronson is also known for producing Amy Winehouse‘s 2006 Back to Black album, and for his #1 hit “Uptown Funk,” featuring Bruno Mars.

Tame Impala received two Best Alternative Music Album Grammy nominations: one in 2014 and another in 2016.

Ctrl entered the Billboard 200 at #3 in late June of this year. She’s preparing to hit the road with Bryson Tiller for the European leg of his Set It Off tour, and will kick off her first headlining tour next month.
