SZA’s Good Days goes platinum

by

Blair CaldwellTwo months after its release, SZA’s “Good Days” has reached platinum status, selling more than one million units.

On Sunday, the R&B songstress shared the good news about her December single, with a series of photos for her latest Instagram photo dump. “Proof of life. ‘Good Days’ is platinum. Thank you beyond a caption,” wrote SZA.

The TDE signee shared a few photos of herself taking a selfie in the mirror wearing an orange wig, a blue shirt and lace panties. SZA also shared a photo of a handmade bracelet that says, “gratitude,” and a poem about appreciating those growth moments in one’s life.

“You will have less worry in your life when you appreciate all of the moments of becoming who you are,” the poem read.

There’s also a video of SZA doing Pop Smoke‘s “Woo dance” while smoking in the studio, and another of her in the red fur bathing suit she wore earlier this month during a Galentine’s Day celebration with Lizzo and friends. The last photo was a screenshot of an Instagram caption from up-and-coming singer Fae Sapienta that read: “Stop judging your art based on how much applause it receives.”

SZA received dozens of “well-deserved” remarks and applause emojis in the comments from the likes of Nivea, actress/singer Ryan Destiny, Alabama rapper Flo Milli, and more, including East London R&B singer Tiana Major9.
