T.I. launches Trap Museum exhibit in Miami this weekend

Jerritt Clark/Getty Images for Lil Trap HouseIn 2019, T.I. launched the Trap Music Museum — one of the first museums solely dedicated hip-hop music and trap culture in Atlanta, Georgia. The interactive experience pays homages to rap legends such as himself, Outkast, Jeezy, and many others. Now, the rapper turned business mogul is trying his hand in the hot streets of Miami, Florida. 

This weekend, the Lil Trap House in Miami exhibit will highlight Florida rappers and entertainers such as Rick Ross, DJ Khaled, City GirlsThe Baddest Trina and more. According to the event’s flyer, visiting guests can look forward to a few “surprise guests and giveaways,” as well as strict safety guidelines due to COVID-19. 

All guests will be subjected to mandatory temperature checks and required to practice social distancing, to safeguard against the pandemic. All guest also are required to wear masks, which can be purchased at the event. Walk-ups are welcomed but organizers recommend making a reservation, in case the event reaches capacity. For your safety and others, organizers have assured guests the exhibit will be cleaned each hour. 

The Lil Trap House Miami exhibit opens today at 4 p.m. and lasts through Sunday, Jan. 17th, in honor of Martin Luther King Jr. Day.
