Tamar Braxton Releases Sneak Peek for If I Don’t Have You Video

by

Epic RecordsLast month, Tamar Braxton has released a new song called “If I Don’t Have You,” the official lead single from her forthcoming album, Calling All Lovers. Now, she’s giving fans a glimpse into the upcoming music video.

In the Harlem Nights-inspired clip, Tamar takes on an unexpected role inside a brothel alongside fellow reality stars, including former Real Housewife of Atlanta star NeNe Leakes, Shateria Moragne-el and Keeping Up with the Kardashians stars Malika and Khadijah Haqq.

“I thought about it and I was like, ‘You know, it would be really cool if I had my real girlfriends in a bit of a brothel. But you know it could be in the 1930s, it could be — 2015!'” Tamar told Entertainment Tonight. “And it doesn’t necessarily mean that we’re selling ourselves. It just means we’re all looking for something, and you don’t really know what each individual is looking for ’til you see the video.”

She adds, “[The song is] about being transparent and it’s about being open and honest with the person that you love.”

“If I Don’t Have You,” produced by Da Internz, appears on Tamar’s third album, Calling All Lovers, arriving July 31.
