PR News PhotoTamela Mann has been tapped to host the 30th Annual Stellar Gospel Music Awards, alongside her husband, David, and Rickey Smiley.
The announcement comes on the heels of Erica Campbell and Ricky Dillard leading all nominees with ten nods each, while Kirk Franklin‘s The Walls Group follows behind with eight, including Artist of the Year. Deitrick Haddon‘s LXW, Arkansas Gospel Mass Choir, Smokie Norful, and newcomer Tasha Page-Lockhart have also score multiple nods.
Michelle Williams, who also earned several nominations, expressed her appreciation via Twitter. “I am so thankful and excited about my four Stellar Award nominations!!! Thank you all who voted to get me this far!” she wrote.
The upcoming ceremony will be recorded inside the Orleans Arena in Las Vegas March 28, and will air Easter Sunday, April 5 on TV One.
