Can you believe it’s been 15 years since we first Fantasia Monique Barrino, a shy 20-year old from North Carolina. In 2004 she was among contestants appearing on the third season American Idol.
Known now as simply Fantasia to her legion of fans, her singing abilities were undeniably, amazing then, and she’s definitely made honed her craft even more, and her mark on the music industry since winning the competition.
Her style has undergone a transformation as well, from ‘punky’ to refined and as Style magazine note:
