Courtesy of VH1Teairra Mari‘s legal woes may just be coming to a halt, after the singer managed to avoid jail time in her DWI case in New York, TMZ has learned.

According to the report, the reality star entered a guilty plea on Monday to one count of operating a motor vehicle under the influence. Subsequently, Mari’s license has been suspended for six months and she’ll be required to attend DWI-related courses as well as install an “ignition interlock device” in her car.

If she fails to comply, Mari could possibly face up to a year behind bars.

As previously reported, the former Def Jam signee was apprehended by the NYPD back in June after an officer observed her car was missing a front wheel as she drove out of the Midtown Tunnel.

However, this isn’t Mari’s first brush with the law.

The singer’s struggle with alcohol abuse has long been documented on Love & Hip-Hop: Hollywood, and in 2011 she was arrested and convicted for driving under the influence.
