TEXAS COLLEGES SEE AN INCREASE IN COVID-19 CASES

by

This week starts the beginning of the fall semester for college students at Southern Methodist University (SMU). During this pandemic college students are hoping for a traditional campus life, while some university in Dallas are already seeing cases of covid-19 on campuses. Though with proper managing of these cases can result in the difference between being able to keep in person instruction and dorm living, or send students home to study online only. A freshman orientation leader at Southern Methodist University John Morgan laid out his concerns about the coronavirus for all incoming freshman students. Morgan states; “ I understand the desire and need to be in large groups. I would love for that to be the case. But if we want any college experience whatsoever, we need to take all these protocols into consideration.”

Do you have a college student back on campus, what’s that processes like for you?
