Taylor Roger Kisby/FilmMagicTeyana Taylor recreates the vibe of the 1970s vibe in her new “Issues/Hold On” video which she dropped Friday. The clip features A$AP Rocky, A$AP Ferg, and Tyler the Creator.
The song interpolates Billy Stewart‘s classic 1965 ballad “I Do Love You.” In the visual, Taylor depicts herself at a comical old-school wedding with Rocky, who plays her husband. Later, she spies him with another woman at a house party, and when she confronts him, he resolves the situation by immediately carrying her upstairs to the bedroom.
“Issues/Hold On” is the latest single from Taylor’s second album, K.T.S.E., executive produced byKanye West.
As previously reported, Taylor has said she will release her third album later this year.
