Teyana Taylor hints at a follow-up to her sophomore album, K.T.S.E.

Image Group/LATeyana Taylor is already prepping to gift fans with a new album in 2019.

Guest starring on Elton John‘s Apple Music radio show, Rocket Hour, Taylor spoke with the iconic musician about her journey to stardom as well as the prospect of dropping off a new project this year.

“It’s definitely going to come out this year. I am going to do whatever I have to do to make sure I get it out,” the “Gonna Love Me” singer told John.

When asked if Kanye West would be spearheading the production, Taylor said no, explaining, “This one is a little bit of everybody, you know. I want to explore a little bit more, get a couple more people involved, to really bring to life my vision and not just be set on one set person or one sound.”

The yet-to-be titled effort will be the follow-up to Taylor’s second studio album, K.T.S.E. (Keep That Same Energy). The album debuted last year as part of Kanye’s major G.O.O.D Music rollout, which also included releases from NasKid Cudi and Pusha T.

Though the arrival of K.T.S.E. was delayed on multiple occasions, the project produced several buzzy videos, including the cinematic visual for the high-energy record “WTP,” directed by Taylor herself.
