Johnny Louis/FilmMagicThe Roots and Anthony Hamilton will be featured during the Christmas in Rockefeller Center TV special in New York City.
The Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon house band will perform two songs, including one tune with Hamilton and his trio of background vocalists, the HamilTones. The show will air live on NBC Wednesday beginning at 8 p.m. ET/PT.
Hamilton was nominated for a Soul Train Award for Best R&B/Soul Male Artist, however he lost to Maxwell. He will end the year with shows December 30 in Atlanta, and New Year’s Eve in Birmingham, Alabama.
The Roots will headline a four-date holiday mini-tour kicking off December 26 in Boston, with stops in Washington, D.C, Orlando and Miami.
