After wowing fans over the summer, The Weeknd is scheduled to continue his residency at Las Vegas’ Drai’s Beachclub, billed as Sin City’s only indoor/outdoor rooftop club.
Organizers have compiled five reasons why fans should come out and see the entertainer when he takes stage Friday, September 18. For starters, he’s got a chart-topping album, Beauty Behind the Madness, and the venues is the only place in Vegas that you will see him perform at. Aside from getting a good view from anywhere inside the 65,000-square foot venue, you just might run into his celebrity friends who have supported his gig in the past. But most important is that the singer is the original Drai’s Live Resident.
“When Drai’s Love kicked off at the top of the year, The Weeknd was the first artist on board. He whole-heartedly believed in the unique mashup of nightlife and live music that Drai’s Live was aiming for, and ever since his first performance at Drai’s he knew it was the only place in Las Vegas that he could consider to be his home,” the statement reads.
