This year’s event, taking place Saturday, May 30 at Philadelphia’s Festival Pier, will include headlining performances from The Weeknd and Erykah Badu, who will be backed by The Roots. In addition, concertgoers will see sets from A$AP Rocky, Rae Sremmurd, Afrika Bambaataa, DJ Mustard and Phantogram.
“I think this is one of our most diverse lineups to date,” Questlove tells Billboard. “I am looking forward to seeing the discovery process. That is what excites me each year. Seeing someone who bought a ticket for one act, discover the music of an unexpected artist. I’m sure there will be some A$AP Rocky fans that will dig Hiatus Kaiyote or some Weeknd fans that will discover Chronixx and vice versa.”
Tickets for the event will go on sale Friday, March 13 at 12 p.m.
