Rich Fury/Getty Images for CoachellaFans waiting for The Weeknd to drop a new album will have to wait a little longer, because the Canadian star has been busy working on a project for a fellow Canadian artist.

“While Chapter 6 is getting cooked, I executive produced my brother new album BAD HABITS dropping Friday,” the artist born Abel Tesfaye wrote on Instagram. “XO vibes for the town.”

NAV confirmed the news in a post of his own, writing, “Proud to say my brother @theweeknd is an executive producer on my album ‘Bad Habits’ XO.”

NAV is signed to The Weeknd’s XO label, via Republic Records. The rapper’s debut album Reckless came out last year and included features from Lil Uzi Vert, Quavo, and Travis Scott.

As for The Weeknd’s own album, which he’s been referring to as Chapter 6 since November, he teased it in January, posting some photos of himself in the studio, along with a picture of a mean-looking Doberman Pinscher, which he captioned “executive producer.”
