Nabil ElderkinThe Weeknd‘s music video for his single “Starboy” is now here.
The visual, directed by Grant Singer, opens with a haunting scene between the recording artist, who’s tied up in a chair, and a masked person who ends up suffocating The Weeknd by putting a plastic bag over his head.
“Starboy” featuring Daft Punk, is the first single from The Weeknd’s fourth LP, which will arrive in stores and digitally November 25.
In other news, The Weeknd is set to headline Lollapalooza South America in 2017. Brazil, Argentina and Chile will welcome the artist next spring, marking the artist’s first onstage appearance in South America.
