Erika Goldring/Getty ImagesGrammy-winning music producer and Verzuz co-creator Timbaland celebrates his 49th birthday today, and shared a Instagram video of the “amazing” gift he received from his wife, Michelle Dennis.
“My queen gave me the most precious gift ASR 10. The very first one I did all my hits on wow. @Michelledennis amazing bday gift,” he wrote in the caption.
“Look at this birthday gift,” said Timbo in the video, before telling his wife to explain the significance of the gift. “Explain it baby, explain it.”
According to Michelle, Timbo used this particular Esoniq ASR 10 sampling keyboard model to create hits for Justin Timberlake, Rihanna, Madonna and many others over the last three decades. “Now that’s a gift,” added Timbo.
The post received tons of celebratory comments from the likes of actor Larenz Tate, R&B singer Justin Skye and fellow Grammy-winning producers Jermaine Dupri and J White.
Fellow Verzuz co-founder Swizz Beatz also took to Instagram to send birthday wishes to his fellow music “brother.”
“Happy king day my brother. I wish you many more years around the sun. Blessings on this day my brother/partner @timbaland,” wrote Swizz in the caption.
