Image Courtesy Gomillion & LeupoldTinashe is moving forward following Iggy Azalea‘s decision to postpone her Great Escape arena tour, for which Tinashe was to have been one of the opening acts.
The singer revealed that while she won’t be part of Azalea’s rescheduled tour in the fall, she’s looking forward to a solo run later this year. “Unfortunately I won’t be participating in the Great Escape Tour, but I would never disappoint – I WILL be on tour THIS summer! DETAILS SOON!” she recently tweeted.
Iggy is slated to kick off her tour September 18 in San Diego, instead of next month as was originally planned. Not only will Tinashe not be joining the rapper’s fall outing, her “Jealous” collaborator Nick Jonas won’t be joining Iggy either — new opening acts will be announced at a later time.
