TLC‘s Chili and T-Boz don’t want no haters in the video for their single,”Haters.” The visual features both women, along with a variety of people singing along to the track in front of a simple grey backdrop.
The end of the clip also brings the song’s liberating message home: it shows the website address for Lady Gaga’s Born This Way Foundation, created to empower and inspire youth.
“Haters” comes from TLC’s fifth and final album, TLC, set for release on June 30. The disc is the group’s first release since third member Lisa “Left Eye” Lopes was killed in a car accident in 2002.
The album was made possible via money donated by fans on Kickstarter. More than 4,000 people collectively pledged over $430,000 for the group’s campaign to create the studio project.
